First off I’d like to thank all of the Local Observers who have helped LAM and its Associates for many years and but now stepped down from Observing, you’ve been stars. And more thanks to those who have put themselves through the National Observer process, as well as all the trainers, it’s been a journey and your dedication is much appreciated.
Our annual Norfolk weekend was simply fantastic this year, everyone threw themselves in to make it a special one, kind weather helped and huge thanks to the organisers who pulled out all the stops and made it happen, thank you.
The group has loads going on at the moment, I can’t mention it all but check out Tracker. I’m really looking forward to our first ever track based Observer training day next month, planning is still ongoing and of course more thanks to the Training Team, Committee, Observers, helpers and to all the ride leaders who volunteer their time!
And our very own Mark Clarke, well, you’ll read it later in this edition of Progress, but THANK YOU!
Finally, I’d like to thank my Dad. Back in the 50’s he owned and rode a Velocette 350 KSS, I’ve seen photos and a few in museums and classic bike events and at last I’ve sourced one myself, Sam, my Dad, can’t ride anymore but I’m looking forward to re-uniting him with a bike he loved.
That is once I’ve sorted the fuel leaks, oil leaks (one is visibly running), choppy front end, dodgy tyres, missing battery, horrendous brakes……..thanks Dad.
Ride smarter, ride safe and enjoy……see you out there.
