    Chairs Chatter

    Dear All

I find this Chair’s Chatter as my first duty in the position of interim Chairman after Mark Jaffe stood down as LAM Chairman.

As a lot of you know Mark runs a very successful motorcycle training school Phoenix.

Mark is developing and expanding his business, and currently finds he is spreading himself too thin across other organisations he is involved with.

I would like to go on record in thanking Mark for all of the extremely hard work and  passion he gave helping to make LAM the amazing place it is. Thankfully he is to remain  part of the Observer corps; he will truly be missed at the helm. Cheers mate

LAM’s Thruxton road skills day was brilliant, I think everyone who attended learnt an awful lot about the capabilities of themselves and their machines. It is our intention to have the same event next year.

I was lucky to be part of LAM’s very very successful Ring Trip at the end of May; a big thanks to Paul Harle for making it happen and well done to all those who conquered the ring circuit.
It was great to see big beaming smiles on everyone’s face at the end of the day. The roads in that area of Germany are truly amazing, and the weather was very kind to us. Roll on 2020.

At the time of writing this the Kent training weekend would be happening in the next few days. Thanks to Steve Davies for all the organisation, and a special thanks to  the Observers who make this event happen, it is an invaluable event that has been proven to give Associates that extra push towards test.

My first executive decision is for me to get a haircut like Kim Jong-un and make the committee members do the same LOL
