COVID-19
Our members are trained to do their daily bike checks (POWDERS) and apply a systematic approach to their riding to minimise risks and improve their road safety. It seems eminently sensible to apply these same processes to our own personal health & safety. Therefore, it is with sadness that given the unprecedented threat posed by COVID-19, we are cancelling all LAM group meetings until further notice.
On behalf of everyone at LAM, we wish you health & happiness and look forward to meeting up as soon as it's safe to do so.

As you will be very much aware the UK is dealing with the COVID 19 threat by following government advice and IAM RoadSmart are no exception to this. The government advice is regularly updated and in order to follow this advice a special edition of INFORM will shortly be sent out.
In advance of INFORM, I can tell you that the Senior Management Team at WGC have taken the decision to suspend all test and assessments until further notice - this includes all Masters, NO and LOA assessments. Please advise your associates and observers that if they have not yet completed their test/assessment, then it will be postponed until we receive advice that we can start testing again.
We appreciate that all local groups are independent charities however the priority must be for IAM RoadSmart to contribute fully to efforts to manage the spread of the virus nationwide and maintain the health and safety of all staff, members, associates and customers. Therefore with immediate effect, groups have today been advised to:
- Stop observed runs for associates
- Stop all meetings and social gatherings, including AGMs and recruitment activity.
Can I ask you to ensure that ALL your membership are aware of this information and act on it accordingly. As soon as I receive any further relevant regarding our position in relation to COVID19, then I will pass it on to you but in the meantime please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
