This month’s focus is on post-test training. 64% of LAM’s total membership consists of those of us who have passed their Advanced Tests, yet, if they’re not choosing to become Observers receive relatively little from the group in terms of ongoing training and support.

The committee has been looking at how to change this – see Martin’s piece about the Post-Advanced Test Training Allowance (PATTA). BUT IT’S A TWO WAY STREET members have got to be willing to get out of the comfort zone, learn new skills or take a check on old ones. Only sixteen members took advantage of TOTALLY FREE Post-Test Rides last year. With offers from Phoenix Training and IAM’s Skills Days as well as a host of other providers what are you waiting for as we begin a new season of riding.
