Mike’s last ride

The following link contains the heart-rending story of Mike Mangan, a 72 year old biker from Bolton who was killed in a bike accident in 2013. Mike’s son Dave, a Roads Policing Inspector with Lancashire Constabulary, was riding with his father at the time of the accident. Dave has created a short film called “Mike’s Last Ride”, as part of a safety campaign to raise awareness of the inherent dangers of riding whilst tired.
All LAMkins are encouraged to view the 4 minute and 25 second clip given the unquestionably important lesson and learning opportunity it represents for all bikers.
