Winchelsea Beach café is on the coast road between Rye and Hastings and often a few bikers are found refreshing themselves. When I was there last a couple of Barbour clad sixty somethings were giving there 650cc Triumphs, a Bonneville and Trophy a run out.
Those familiar with the location will have spotted that the pub garden style benches have been replaced by pods which provide protection from the westerly wind which is prevalent along this stretch of coast.
Menu is not extensive but the full English (£10.20) is available all day and there are a range of other breakfast type offerings as well as Burgers (£8.50) and sandwiches, which I can confirm are freshly made and well-filled.
Good stop off.
Phil Dupp
