Please don't book your IAM Advanced test before you've had a 'Check Test' from one of our National Observers. Your Observers will tell you when you've reached test standard and the Check Test is a final sanity check to make sure you're test-ready. Organise your Check Test by posting in the forum #check-test channel.
Once you're ready, click the button below to go to the IAM website and book your test.
BOOK IAM ROADSMART ADVANCED TEST
You should expect a test date 4-6 weeks after you send your application. It could be quicker (or in rare cases, slower) depending on Examiner availability. You will receive an email from the IAM confirming your test date, examiner, meeting point and all relevant information you need for the big day.
It's easy to say, but try to relax and enjoy the experience. No-one ever does a perfect ride. LAM's Observers train you to be better than test standard, so even if you make a few mistakes, you should still pass.
