LAM AGM 2023

The Annual General Meeting of the Group took place on Tuesday 7th November at The Warren, Hayes.

Some of the key points from the AGM are:

Jane Harle stood down as Chair after two years in the role and received a bouquet as a token of appreciation. We therefore have a new Chair - Steve Davis who stood unopposed. Steve is currently Training Co-ordinator and will be working to ensure a smooth transfer of these responsibilities to Richard Boden-Doyle.

Diogo Camoez also stood down as Group Treasurer and will be replaced by Martin Chamberlain, who also stood unopposed.

Associate of the year was awarded to Thomas Muirhead by the Training Team for achieving a F1rst test, passing in four months after five Observed Rides. 

Observer of the year was awarded to Stuart Hinks for outstanding Observing duties, multiple volunteering duties and commitment to National Observer conversion.

The Brian Bennett Memorial Trophy was awarded to Trevor Ambrose following a vote by the membership. This is in addition to the national award Trevor recently received.
