Let’s be Welcoming!
It’s great to catch up with fellow LAMkins at the Banstead and Tatsfield meetings. Every month however there new or new-ish Associates coming who have not yet had the chance to make friends.
Not everyone is confident about striking up a conversation with a stranger, especially when everyone seems to know everyone else!
Next time you notice someone standing with no one to talk to why not introduce yourself? If you’re standing with others you could invite them to join the circle. We all ride bikes so you’re bound to have something in common so let’s make sure that everyone gets a friendly welcome.
